Learn about what Rumi is talking about–how a deep-listening practice can bring you into a warm and loving place with yourself.
In this mini-retreat, in which we will connect through zoom online, we will explore the steps to creating a mindfulness practice that deepens your sense of compassion for yourself. Self-compassion practices help you generate a deeper relationship with yourself and help you face your demons stopping you. Once you build your healing container and nourish it with self-compassion, you can welcome everything that comes next in your life. No longer will you fear the darkness and the pain, nor turning towards your grief, because you will know how to begin the journey with self-love and self-forgiveness.
On Friday evening we will explore the power of self-compassion, what it is and why it is the essential ingredient to soften your healing container and allow deep exploration within. Learn short practices you can use at any time of the day. On Saturday, we will deepen into dyads and breakouts to do practices and then reflect on their impact; we will explore how IFS creates a powerful roadmap for creating self-compassion with your parts and gives you a view of deep diving or turning towards your sorrow and traumas. Then we will explore practices that you can take with you to practice with others at the Self Compassion Practice Circle on April 15th which will be in person (and online) in Longmont. Register for this now to reserve your spot.
